No Justice For The Vita Featured

Written by

Mortal Kombat is one of the highest praised Vita titles and, quite possible, the best port available and greatest version of the game. It takes advantage of all the Vitas features and does so in a unique way that is fun to play. The same studio that brought us this great fighting game is about to release their next figthter, Injustice: Gods Among us, and it is running on a improved version of the same engine... but Warner Brothers are being completely hush about the possibilities of a Vita port.

We tried to reach out to Warner Brothers to see if they could shed any light on the topic but they didn't answer. Not even with a vague answer like, "no plans as of yet". Whether or not they are considering a Vita port of Injustice: Gods Among Us should, in no way, be such a big deal--definitely not a question they should be avoiding. Mortal Kombat absolutely broke through on the handheld gaming device, it wouldn't make any sense if they didn't bring Injustice: Gods Among Us to the Vita, as well. But the silence on the matter is getting us a little worried. Could it be that Warner Brothers are just not that invested in Sony's handheld gaming device?

We doubt it. We believe that the Injustice Vita port is inevitable. Maybe Warner Brothers are just too busy with other things right now to be able to confirm that the Vita version is also on its way. It would, however, be nice of Warner Brothers to at least give us a small gesture like a wink to keep us hoping and looking forward to the Vita port.
